The lighting is never right, the timing is never right, the amount of time is never available, wah wah wah. My sad trombone and I have a zillion excuses for why I haven’t shown more photos of the babies’ room. Here, however, are a few I quickly shot yesterday morning while my trio hung out in Toby’s crib.

I love that it’s so bright! My son’s room is done in all bright bright bright primary colors and my mom was like, “Won’t those colors SCARE THE BABY?! Shouldn’t you be using PASTELS?!” And I was like, “Bitch, please.”

Really cute! I am loving bright colors lately! You made good use of the space too. Question though – will they always share or do you have another room that you’ll split up the girls and boys? Just wondering. I’m always thinking ahead 😉

I’m not sure if I’ve commented before, but I love your blog, I’ve been following since before your three were born, right after you went into the hospital for the first time, I was also in the hospital at the same time.

I love your blog and love love love their room!!! If my twins were b/g that was totally going to be our theme. Did you do it before or after they were born?

    • Jenny says:

Thanks for all the love and congrats on your duo! Most of the babies’ room was done before they were born – we just filled in some small details during their NICU stay, artwork and whatnot.

Those colors are fantastic! That turquoise-y blue has always been one of my favorites. I was too much of a wimp to paint walls that bright when we redid our house, but I love how your nursery looks. Maybe if we have more rooms in another house someday I’ll get bold enough to try something like this out. :)

  22. Kayla says:

I spy some Ikea? I have a really bright double nursery! (1 year old and newborn) and I looooooove how fun it is when I walk in.

Tell more about the hanging art?

    • Jenny says:

      Lots of IKEA!

Let’s see, the print on the bookshelf was a gift from one of my closest friends. I believe she bought it off Etsy. The PBJ pieces were painted by another good friend and were a shower gift. The elephant was done by a local artist. The alphabet flashcards are from this Etsy seller: http://www.etsy.com/shop/artandphilanthropy

  24. Kimberly says:

Love the nursery. What gave you the idea to put stripes in the corners? I love them. Love the all the colors. Also, I tototally love the Elephant Painting. Did you buy that? Or did you paint that also?

    • Jenny says:

I wish I could remember where I saw the striped corners. It was a site that had a huge collection of categorized baby/kid rooms. Bah! I can’t find it! The elephant was done by a local artist. I’m so not that talented!

  25. Crystal says:
